As the title says, am on the lookout for a Siemens SL45i mobile phone.

Having a bit of trouble getting hold of one on eBay atm (their quite rare).

I collect phones lol, and it was the first GSM phone to be released with an MP3 player, GPRS and removable memory card etc...

It only looks pants cos it doesnt have a camera or colour screen lol, neither of which I need anyway hehe.

Imho, the styling of the phone is better then a lot of modern phones.

As a collectable no, but it could be handy to have as a backup phone the rate I destroy them lol.

i have about 3 or 4 of them nokia 1100's lol.. also several 3310's... would u class the 3210 as a collectable fone matt? just curious (me not being a fone collector would expect they are fairly collectable altho not so rare)... i imagine u have at least one in ur collection...

Nah I aint got a 3210, got a fair few really old phones at me dads, I think I have a battered not working 3210 but not one that works lol.

If its in full working order and good condition, original Nokia covers etc, they can fetch upto about £30 a piece from a collector.

I wouldnt pay that though, id wait for one to come up on eBay. But in years to come the 3210 will be a collectable imho, its already classed as a "classic" lol.

Gooduns to have from the 2G digital era iirc are the likes of the Ericsson R38, T28/T28 World, Nokia 7110, 6310 and 8310, original 8850/8890.

Also, older and rare phones like the 8855 and 8250 fetch a fair amount still.

Gotta be in mint condition though.

The Nokia 8110 is a phone to have... that was the matrix phone and can fetch stupid money given the right person buying it hehe.

i had an ericsson T28 if that's the fat flip fone in grey? sold it for a £60 chunk of weed tho lol... was when i was young and naive... not that i'm much different these days

A really good one, that still commands a good price on fleabay is the SX1

Shit man, you would of loved the phone i had when i was workin security years back.
Size of a housebrick cut down the middle, screen was red led type and battery lasted about half hour to 60 min, lol, cant remember the name of it but it was the dogs bollox at the time because mobiles were not well known then.
It never had a simcard either, i thought it was an awesome bit of kit at the time

This can be closed now as I just managed to get two of these phones hehe.
