i had an oberseas contract - Malta, working through an agency

Got bitten by something nasty - leg swelled - doctor give me a sick note for seven days bed rest.

Presented sick note to company in Malta and was promptly sacked on spot - reason being that If I take more than three days off then I am no use to them and so terminated my contract

Now the agency involved had medical cover but refused / ignored my request for a claim for lost of earnings.

Have I got a case to follow this up?

Was it a Maltese company you were working for? If it comes under Maltese law, probably put it down to experience. Hope you get better

It was a multinational company

Blacked me at Malta but employed me at another site - Ireland

It doesn't matter if it's a multi national, it comes under Maltese law.
