Seen them out last night dealing with a large group of young lads drinking and being antisocial.

what is the job of the community patrol??

they did a good job last night as the guy was on his own. i wouldnt go up to a large group of young lads like that.

Dont mind paying my taxs to people like that keeps the police free to deal with the real crimes

My mate works for the community patrol, they just deal with low-level ASB crime and the like, as you say, in theory leaving the plod to get on with hard crime (motoring incidents!!).

I always HATE to hear of these young idiotic inebriates causing trouble just because they can't take their drink.

If booze makes these young yobs so aggressive, then they should leave the stuff well alone.
