1. i dinked the bonnet and got rid cos the repair wouldve been to expensive and
2. It didnt suit the car, it was unique and everything but the bonnet looks better bald. Am lookin for a replacement tho, im thinkin just holes like F&F Supra etc.... or WRC sorry to copy dazza but WRC is very well suited to the ezza and the car isnt liking the jap look.I wanna go Gti kit, on its ass and deep dish 16"s with a tones down spoiler and changed exuast exits but i think that wont happen

1. The nemo sticker set was a gift from a friend and one was perfectly shaped to use as a tax disc holder so i put it on.Alloy one kept falling off anyway.
2. Evobabe if u think i shud do something to my car thatd be cool pm me if u wanna c it happen.
3. Never ever been pulled by the civie plod. RAF police used to pull me all the time and i get followed by both raf and civie bill a fair bit but i always spy em and play the game till their gone. once i was travellin home down woody road when the cop car infront of me slowed to like 17mph for ages then when someone came up behind me he pulled over and stopped. and the car behind then followed me home, U/C i reckon. God i h8 our laws on the roads

Right guys and gals, ive just done a new mod(unmodification) to shrek. He is now wearing standard mirrors again because
1. they look better
2. better visibility
3. M3s were dechroming
4.When sprayed they will look sweet

no way m8 they look sweet m3s but i no wat u mean about visibility does ur spoiler get in the way of the view behind mine does and ive got m3s!!!

Spoiler is fine through all mirrors.M3s were really aweful and they r pants. way too common and the escorts standard ones suit it more.Mk 3 astra ones r scat so they have to be changed. DTM may look good on mine but they mite not have the visibility so sod it. My rear view mirror has fell off and wont stick back on. anyone got any ideas. used UHU all purpose and cello'd it while glue dried but it just does not stick, glue kinda hardens and is completely smooth on the glass side

you can get pads from shell or motorworld to re-attach your rear-view mirror. you have to scrape off all the old glue and ****, and a good idea is cleanin both parts with Meths cos it gets rid of the grease.

On my old escort the mirror kept fallin off but when i cleaned off all the old crap and used meths it stuck back on fine with one of them special stick pads

by the way, that blue colour looks well sweet! i like the shrek green but the blue...mmmmm mmmm!

kit was from autotint design,ultimate velocity and MC Rallying. Fitted by a little shop next to kfc down by the rock.DNA.I would not recomend them unless the kit is very easy to fit.Use kerr mate cos i hear he is the best in the area.

Doing another (un)modification to the car tomorrow. Gonna put the cat back on to improve fuel consumption and give it a more bassy note instead of the massively loud rassp it has now. I dont like it. Its cool when it backfires all the time but just sounds awful under acceleration.Let you know how good the new note is tomorrow

Just given shrek another handful of coice mods these include




1.Changed my black no-tacho dials for a white set including rev counter from my mates 1.8Si. Lush looking(also repaired heater illumination while i was back there)

2. Chopped top 2 inches of shift lever so the knob has a shorter throw and looks 10x better with the gaitor all scrunched up sporty style.

3. Got official Fod footmats in the front from mates wrecked Si

4. Binned that awful parcel shelf and started to install 6x9's in 4x6 holes in the boot trim. Also tidied the boot loads while i was at it.

5. Broke my clifford plastic trim that goes around the LED. It flew around the car too so its lost


All in all interior now looks fab

Ive been at it again, Now my exhaust has been unmodified by refitted the cat.

It took a while and was a pain in the ass but not it is complete.
Done it for the mot but it will not be gettin de-catted again as i believe it sounds 10x better with it.

Economy should pick up and the sound is a lot more bassy and smooth,sporty is the way.Cant hear the zorst when the stereo is set to 19/35 or above, Little bit raspy when stationary reving but on the move it is smove hehe.

Me and my unmodification is goin to get me a green standard car in about 3 months if i keep goin.

Speaking of which i tidied my boot up today and moved my sub to face across the car left to right. Leavin me with a fait bit o luggage space. Also moves the front lockwood grill forward so it is more flush with the bonnet/bumper line. Sanded the spoiler back a little bit too so hopefully it will stop rubbin the rear wings. (WAS VERY POORLY FITTED BY MY LEAST FAVORITE BODYSHOP IN THE WHOLE WORLD)and they refused to fix it. WEll they can F off i will do it meself

As for the front bumper the filler has small lines in it that are the filler cracking

I hat fibreglass(and dodgy peeps who claim they can fix it when they cant)

Oh my god im good.

Today i wired up my rev counter all by myself.( im a big boy)checked the wiring diagram in the haynes manual and put a wire between the clocks and the ECU.

Problem lay in the fact that the ECU had a protective shroud round it that was riveted to the ECU holder.After 4 hours of bending,drilling and bolt-cropper usage the shroud came away and i got the wire spliced into the ECU.For some reason there was a cable in the whole but it does not appear behind the clocks so i had to use new wire. Kapron aircraft wiring to be precise.Gucci stuff.

Doing this involved having the ECU disconnected and the battery was of all day.ECU's forget there programming after 8 hours so upon restartin the car for the first time the car had to map the fuelling again from what all the sensors told it. This means that it is a lot better to drive,took ages to find idle when i first started it but thats normal and it idols at about 900 nice and smooth

Rev counter is come in very useful and ive found my power band 3900-5000.

Tightened handbrake today too and fitted Si interior lights(includes 2 readin lamps and clearer filters so the light is more brite!)


Also got rid of the interior sun strip tint as instucted and it actually loox better. Dont wanna take the CW and FR of tho.We'll have to see wot mot guy sez!

New plans are doin up the interior to a top spec level, Adding elec sunroof and big sunvisors with lights in,grabhandles with lights in etc....

Just thought of somethin matey, just been lookin at that 2nd pic ..... and i think you should really get a new steering wheel. That ugly black circle seems to be spoiling the look of the interior, if you got a modded one in there it would look damn sweet.

Id stick that at the top of ye interior mod list, would make a huge difference

On the cards mate but only for a Si 3 spoker, i wudnt go aftermarket as i dont wanna lose my airbag, may get the Si one retrimmmed too!

It used to be removed,it ran fine, now it is back on as i hated the rasp of the exhaust, also performance didnt really increase with it off. Not worth the hassle on a 1.4

doesnt fella, u need to see it close up to spot the cracks etc... Also its not very practical the way it is so i want it to be smart and sleeper-esque. GTi kit is subtle, spoiler may remain yet but i dont know.

the prowler is ruined mate, full of cracks etc and im tryin to tone the car down to be sleeper like i sed before, thinkin of some sort of unique tweak to make it stand out from the rest of the GTi fron ends

Read back a bit mate and u will see i plan to have a 1.8 engine by september and then i plan to be pushin 140BHP at least by xmas. Just so i can surprise all them BMW 318 etc that like tryin to play with me on the M6.(not that i will exceed 70 officer) Cant wait!

With a few choice mods mate, However by the time ive got 140BHP he will have 160. Read back and i think u will find what mods im plannin for the engine. BMC Carbon indu kit,Full PERFORMANCE exhaust,Chip,FSE,And maybe a E-Ram compressor

Throttle body mofo. Just checkin things out and ive found that i can get a bigger ford throttle body thatll bolt straight on to the 1800 and give me at least 10 more horses. The best thing is that i can get one for about 30 nicker.Watch ur back this summer dazza or your gonna get owned

Due to damage to my chrome,i have decided to re-do my wheels.
Currently i am in the process of de-chroming them.
Its workin dead well and one rim is already 95% chrome free.
Once theyre done i think ill leave em till after the nationals then
after that ill take all the kerbing out and respray them a lovely shiny grey.

is it expensive to chrome alloys?

Chroming wheels i imagine would be rather expensive. I bought them chrome and now the are black mostly. But they are sat on a dead shrek. Car is dead and now empty of stereo. Topic will be closed by tomorrow night if they write it off which is what i think is gonna happen.Poor shrek

Luckily the Coupe is still fairly rare in comparison.

There is alot of Civic's on this website, but they aint hugely common on the open road in my opinion.

i think if you went for a Civic you should think about some "Unique" mods you can do to kind of make it a bit more of an individual. Last thing you want is to get one and to have people say its "Just another civic".
