Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 6th Nov 2004 8:28pm
right i wana get some alloys on me motor but im in a dilemma. 15s an slammed but then its gettin on a ramp come MOT time. 16s and lowered?? but then its just normal and not different. or arch scraping 17s but they might look too big on a car like mine an put it on stilts. for 15s im thinkin of 5 spoke alloys and IF 17s then id like mille miglia T12s. any help appreciated
Posted By: PAZ Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 7th Nov 2004 1:43pm
Get 16s mate, dont look to high, dont look to small either, and you can still slam it!!!

Don`t worry about MOT time i have huge probs finding a station to accomadate for how low the car is, but when you need to find out where will do it, just pm me...

mmmm me like alot. shame there rubbin any chance u can get bigger spacers or just get the same wheels specific for your car
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 30th Dec 2004 1:16pm
This is going to sound really stupid but if I dont ask then I wont learn... why are they rubbing? happy
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 30th Dec 2004 1:17pm
hmmm where've i seen them before

they look mint gary laugh might go an clean mine now cool
Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 30th Dec 2004 1:29pm
there not specific for my car as they are a ford fitment but i gopt given spacers for it so they should fit. i rang wheelworx guy lastnite (at 9.30) and he said its happened on 1 quiksilver in the past and he's sendin me 3mm shims which should sort, and the guys on PGAC sum said thats what i will need anyway so hopefully itll be sorted

thats spot on gary looks fantastic!

how about a small spoiler maybe? de-badge the quicksilver bit off the side.

have you put the standard rear lights back on to??
Posted By: scoop Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Jan 2005 9:08pm
I see your bumper had been flattened where the pug badge used to go, Why did u get the wrong rims, Why didnt u get 106 fit rims.Have u sorted the scrubbage. That is one mint 106 mate. I reckon a nice spoiler and a 206 vent wud sort u out perfect mate
Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Jan 2005 10:16pm
yep standard rear lights on now looks in my opinion smoother and lexus are abit old hat, i wana take the quiksilver strips off the dorrs but not the badge off the side but not sure if it would leave a residue or not (the strips), and i aint sure about a spoiler either i want a GTI one but i want smooth so not sure, keep comments coming guys!
Posted By: scoop Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Jan 2005 10:21pm
Heres an idea, colour code everything that is not silver and cut out the line in ur front bumpers hole.Leave a massive mouth itll be sweet
mesh that and get the b pillars done silver somehow, wot u fink m8
Posted By: dikky5 Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Jan 2005 11:29pm
that car luks familiar. i think i may o seen that around???

te he.
Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Jan 2005 11:31pm
the wheels you cant get in a pug offset so had to get ford 1s and spacers, everyone with a modified 106 has that bar took out so mines stayin to look different, i weana colour code everythin anyway next is either my bumpstrips colour coded and blended in like this

or this exhaust which is abit pricey really but sweet as

Posted By: Dave106 Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 7th Feb 2005 2:22pm
stunning mate, next i think you should dehandle the doors and get a remote popping system, and also colour code the mirrors, i dont think you should colour code the bumpers though because the black breaks all the silver up and looks sweet.

keep it up

Check out the piccie above showin off the headlights and i believe inside the grill lies an intercooler. That is no way a radiator. That car must be quick!!!!

thta car is a 106 gti TURBO yes turbo got approx 210 brake, and has been in a few mags, apparently the lad that owns it is super rich though and can afford anythin he wants but at least he's spent it wisely

Its to the point, subtle and not too much. The way the exhaust hugs up and all the lines just flo'

I like it
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 14th Feb 2005 11:57am
thats like saying a car is so jap style because it has a jap sunstrip?

if the pug had a smoothed boot, colour coded strip removed then smoothed over, towing eye removed then that section meshed, rear wiper removed, exhausts hung so they sat the same each side, then i think it'd start to look euro?

still a sweet car none the less cool
Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 15th Feb 2005 6:45pm
gona leave the blendin for a while now its either new headlights or that and i want the lights! cars goin in to our very own automotion in a couple of weeks to get mirrors sprayed, handles done silver, 'quiky' strips off the doors and part of rear bumber re-sprayin were its gone flakey, great value from them again.
Posted By: Gary Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 18th Feb 2005 12:44pm
next three mods in this order....... new headlights, twin exhausts as on the yellow gti above, then bumbers blending..... little bits i.e. mesh, number plates etc in between all that
Posted By: Anonymous Re: Gary : Peugeot 106 Quiksilver - 18th Feb 2005 1:03pm
good stuff gary, make sure the exhausts sit the same eachside though not the way one of the ones on the yellow car is lower than the other laugh
