Very true, A "tuning box" ups it by 50BHP and 50lb/ft (i think) for just a cuppla hundred greenbacks
Posted By: Rennie Re: Mullen: VW Bora - 29th Sep 2005 1:45pm
why do you call money greenbacks?? trying to be american?? money isnt green over here
Posted By: StuyMac Re: Mullen: VW Bora - 29th Sep 2005 2:26pm
Fair play to ya matey, the 150bhp versions are very rare indeed smile

Only comment about the pics is that it doesnt look too low, considering the 150 had stiffer, and lower suspension than the 130's as std.

The torque of the TDi's will make the car feel very impressive after the torqueless Honda motor smile

Love those engines, diesels are getting quicker and quicker, wonder how long it'll be before they're widely used in motor racing?

I like the bora, get it slammed, they look ace with a bit of euro styling.

Also like them with bad-boy bonnets - here's one I did in photoshop a little while back.

The jetta was the first version, then they brought out the vento, now the bora. Hope that helps
Posted By: AX_125 Re: Mullen: VW Bora - 29th Sep 2005 3:36pm
Yeah, i know that, but apparently they are renaming it back to the Jetta to fall in line with the american market, where it is already called a jetta over there

Doesnt the 150 "Sport" have all the TDI lettering in red?

I thought the red "Di" was the 130 model, but they didnt do those on the Bora until a "Y" plate confused

Bora on W Plate

115ps???

Good move with the coilovers, hopefully they won't be too stiff!
