For me, it's a choice between yours and Stuy's race car.

Convince my vote with some decent engine bay pics wink

Well, Mine started out in life as a lightly modified road car!!

[Linked Image]

..then over last winter I transformed it in to a full on race car to compete in the Classic Touring Car Series. Car is still road legal, and is still MOT'd, though I have let the Tax lapse as its a bit uncomfortable to drive on the road.

Pretty much all modifications have been done by myself, on the drive, come rain or shine...

As the season has progressed Ive got more and more used to the car, and Ive evolved the handling with additions to suspension parts, and adjustments to suspension parts. The last race showed just how competitive it had got - qualifying 4th out of 18 cars in the wet at Silverstone!!!

There are so many things that Ive done to this car now, bet thing to do is look at my MMC as the number of pictures would take this thread over

Here is how she looks now....

Where should I start....

Mine should win as its definately something a bit different. Its certainly not something you see every day.

I bought it as Ive been dying to get myself racing since an early age, and with Karting becoming more popular, it seems a fantastic series to begin in. Huge fields made up of people from all ages and backgrounds.

Even though not 100% finished, over a busy and hectic motorsport based summer, I managed to eventually take delivery of it, take it all apart, cleaned and put back together again.

The only thing Im waiting for, as you all know, is the engine. Considering that it is a Single Pistoned, 100cc 2 Stroke Vortex, it has performance levels that will put the majority of cars on Britains roads to shame.

Top Speed - 80 mph (Single gear and chain)
0-60 - 5 seconds

It has the ability of becoming a shifter kart, which basically means that a 100 cc engine will power the kart through 5 gears, onto a top speed of around 135 mph. If I were to use a 250cc Gearboxed engine, top speed would be around 160 mph !!!!!!!! All this without a seatbelt omg

For power to Weight, NOTHING even comes close thumbsup

Bought the interior knowing the passenger side, door airbag has popped.

My passat is a non-seat airbag model,so the seat can just be repacked and stitched.

as we speak it is being dropped off at Car connection. and will be fitted for the Thurs meet.
