Just got this, the mods so far are...

135k on the clock service history till 100k, loads of paper work, proof of cambelt, reciepts for lowering etc, Magnex exhaust, panel filter. Also got a full enclosure alarm with window and sunroof closeure.

Jobs to do are sort the offside driveshaft, knocking when turning right. Replace the bootlid as rust is bad.

Only got 1 pic till tomorrow

The car goes ok picks up well compared to a 2.0 td Jag S Type, Few mnor things to do then going for the MOT, it has mot till October but to be honest i would like it to get checked over properly, all new brakes are going on then maybe a Vr6 or 16Valve transplant dependant on price Etc...

These can look really nice if done properly!!
I've seen some horrific looking jap-style ones, and gorgeous euro ones.

Pity no-one really makes 'new' old retro designs anymore. Only good if you want jap style 18" rancid Ripspeed creations. frown

Sorted the knocking out today, turns out it was a snapped drop link on the anti roll bar making contact on the cv joint.

Also Fitted new front brakes which was a very easy job.

Body mods are to be kept Std apart from Wheels and grill.

Golfvr Got any 15/16 inch wheels? upto 8inch wide if possible.

On Thursday morning i decided to look under the car for rust, i knew their was some but what i seen made me abit angry.

Behind the seats is 2 holes around 80mm where the bungs are, got a price on welding a plate over for 30quid. I will more than likley do this my self as i'm on the lookout for a cheap welder ( mig is preferred but arc if they are really cheap)

After the welding has been done the Cv gaitors have to be changed due to the antiroll bar splitting them,

Pics will be put up monday as i will have time then.

You can get Arcs for as little as £30 off ebay.

Theres also 2 part universal CV boots on ebay which you can stick together rather than taking it all apart.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures
