Well i've only had it about a month an already had to replace the clutch £285 (bollocks'd presure plate), 2 back tyre's £160 (very nice yoko's)and the discs an pads upfront another £70!

You can get a supercharged 3 litre V6 dropped in for 3k, which is very temptin! Anyone need a kidney? Lol!

got a few things i wanna do to it but nothing major, wanna fit a short shift an snap off wheel inside an eventually go for a body kit. I've fitted a dvd head unit and screen an replaced all the speakers up front and done some custom 6x9's behind the seats so its gettin there.

Incidentally, ive got a 12"diamond audio sub and DLS amp up for grabs if anyones interested, no room to squeeze it in the 2 so its just sittin goin to waste.

for free or u want cash for it? I'll have it off your hands for nothin lol

One of my fave car's of all time the MkI and MkII MR2's, love them to bits, so am biased, but fook that car is beautiful!!

I wanted an MR2 and the insurance was fine, only about £400 a year... but the lack of rear seats was impractical for me right now.

Soz mate, i know how anoyin it is needin to hav a "family wagon/sensible car". luckily the missus wrote of her car, a SH*TE astra estate, so she inherited my sensible car, TD focus, which in all honesty is quite fun, plenty of lift off oversteer!!! an i bought the highly practical 2!Lol

Not family reasons... yet. But I do often have kid's and need me car for practicality atm.

A) often entice kids into your car as b) ypu dont have any of your own...but enjoy kiddy "company" and if you had a mr2...you wouldnt be able to "entice" kiddywinks in as easily...and it would be faar more noticeable...

Lol nah I always get rigged into looking after me sisters kids/me mates kids as I have all the time in the world so they see me as a childminder.

Cheers bud, yeah the suspension seems a bit high to me too. it has been lowered but any more an it'd be highly uncomfortable.

must admit a mate had a mk2 mr2 and it was as low as the noonies of a very stumpy bulldog and i only went in it once and it nearly broke my back

Well after waiting for what felt like an eternity my spare side vents have finally arrived and the fettlin has begun!!
I'll try an get some pics of the fettlin in process up tommorow, weather permittin they should be fully re-sprayed and ready to be fitted. jus prayin for dry weather

Pics at last. Started with the standard vents, cut the centers out, fibre glassed the backs, filled, sanded,(alot!!!)primed, topcoated then about 900 coats of laquer! Im quite pleased with the end result.

Well went to fit the new side vents yesterday an what an utter pain in the ass that is!!! after 10 mins of removin 10 tons of sh*t to get to the bolts found out i need a deep drive 10mm socket..... FOOKIN THING!!!!!!
So doin them this weekend once i've got the socket.

lol no matter how many tools you have, you always need more.
