Looks like a very tidy car, though I doubt the Type R was really trying through the twisties.

Look forward to seeing the "valver" getting lobbed in, should give it a good kick up the backside smile

Civic Type R dint even realise it was a race...

Nor is that fast in any way, shape or form tease

However, look forward to seeing it progress cos they have potential those things!
he was tryin trust lol i cant wait to do track days nxt yr im aiming for cars like this or to just sit with them on the bends. im gonna be trying my hardest to go past the faster cars that civic type r driver was trying trust he was happy to show me wat it could do on the straights,

if that was the case then hes a shit driver anybody can go fast in a straight line its the bends that matter to me thats the skill.

Seriously matey, he must have been a crap driver, the CTR is renowned for being one of, if not the best handling hot hatch out there, theres also the small advantage of him having 70(ish) bhp over you wink

i concur,either
a)he was a shite driver
b)he wasnt trying
c)he didnt wanna push too hard,no point teararsing round the bends in this weather (especially if its only an astra ur proving urself over)
d)he wasnt racing, just driving quickly, which most CTR owners do,with u straining to keep up with his "driving quickly"

Once u have a 2.0 engine u may keep up with similar powered cars when theyre trying

listen mate take some advise of some people with cars with actual power. your in a car made for going to the shops in not racing down a muddy lane. an from wot i can see you have no mods that would help with grip or cornering. the ctr driver probly looked in the mirror an thought wot the hell is he doing an thought it wasnt owrth crashing his £9000+ plus car to prove that he is faster than your 1.6 shoping car

i would sit down an realy think about wot you have said. If going down the lanes do it on your own because you will kill somebody

Are you sure that the Civic was a type R and not just a badged up look-a-like with a diesel engine from a lawn mower?? Seriously, I have had alot of "fast" vauxhalls in the past includig a red-topped engined astra 16v and non of them would have a chance in hell of keepin up with a type R...Sayin that I still have a soft spot for vauxhalls...
