I have a tap in the garden that has an old lead pipe feeding it, the problem is that only about 2 inches of lead pipe stick up from the ground and a copper pipe has been sweated onto it ( at some point many years ago), the lead pipe has a pin hole leak and I have been told it needs to be cut out and a leadloc connection used. I have been quoted £90 (over the phone) but was hoping that someone could just re-sweat the lead to seal it. If you are a plumber and able to do this for me pm me asap, please
