With friends visiting from London I attempted the part of the walk from Eastham to Rock Ferry. When we got to the part of the walk close to the Prestige Factory the signs were conflicting & seemed to take us along roads. So we opted for trodden paths. These took us past A Lithium recovery plant & eventually to a quicksand pit. We opted to walk along the shore but were obstructed by a promontory & the river so had to retrace our steps & ended up getting the bus back from the Croft Retail Park.

!Questions?

Why isn't the circular walk more clearly signposted in this area?

Why can't we walk next to the river? It's a beautiful walk.

I think we may have walked on private land. Why isn't this indicated?
