Just got myself a nice new mobile phone, a sony ericsson w995. Despite working in IT i am not a very gadgety person. I have got it connecting upto my wireless fine and was wondering about getting windows live messenger on it.
Has anyone ever had windows messenger on a sony? It has an IM setting that i can't figure out how to setup and there doesn't appear to be a whole lot about it on the net.
Many thanks

Just use a j2me application for it, eBuddy isnt bad for the K800i, id expect it would be okay on the newer ones. I installed it ages ago and it looks good but never really used it, don't like MSNing without a keyboard, plus I have Windows Live Messenger Mobile on my HTC. Don't bother with the messaging application pre-loaded onto SE devices, its turd and I don't think it even works with the MSN protocol - if it does, its complicated to get it working. I think I uninstalled it, it's just a waste of space imho. http://www.ebuddy.com/mobilebeta/index.php
