I have locked my laptop somehow ? It keeps saying that my password is incorrect and it is not. How can I get passed it? I'm on windows vista

You need to remember your password lol. How do you mean by "locked" it? Have you restarted it or is that where the problem occurs?

nevermind im on now, aint got a clue why now it has decided to let me on now and not before. I have changed the password again...

Multiple accounts for a laptop shared by twins.....CLEVER  Fingerprint recognition is crap, slide you finger over it every which way and after about the 600th time, it recognises it...once

I still use password only. It does me, I have a 17 digit password and never forget it.
All important/confidential data on my old machine was encrypted too. Which reminds me...
