Well the 2006/2007 Premiership season is over. And so is Premiership Plus, the PPV football channel from Sky. Sky were forced to give up the contract by the EU/Competition Commission, and now its us customers who will lose out!

Here's what Sky used to charge for 50 Premiership games in 2006/2007 via Prem Plus:

- Prem Plus Season Ticket - £60.00 Per Year
- Prem Plus Half-Season Ticket - £30.00 Per Year

And heres what Setanta are charging for 46 Premiership (lower quality games then the ones shown on Sky Sports may I add) games in 2007/2008:

- Monthly - £15.00 per month
- Annually - £180.00 per year

SO THANK YOU THE FOOKIN EU/COMPETITION COMMISSION, YOU HAVE DONE US CUSTOMERS PROUD, ONCE AGAIN WE LOSE OUT AND GET RIPPED OFF!

No way in hell am I going to pay £15.00 per month on top of my Sky sub for football!

Only plus point is Sky Sports have 92 games this season instead of 88.
