We went here yesterday and was there for around 2 and a half hours, didnt find a penny lol ... gotta keep looking, so we went up by Childwall behind the old Childwall hall (fields) and started picking up things only turned out to be a old tip, but we got alot of bottles. people collect bottles dont they?..

That tip was in operation in 1960/61 when I was at Childwall Hall College. On a warm day when you were downwind, the smell was er.. great (?)
Hope you manage to find something of interest. Yes, people DO collect old bottles, although the tip at Childwall probably won't have anything pre-'50's/'60's. The fun is in the hunt !!
