Small grey/white female cat, no collar, found injured on Seabank Road opposite junction with Hertford Drive about 8am today (Sat 3/11), probably hit by a car.
I didn't have my phone with me, so wasn't able to take a photo. She is quite small, whiteish/grey fur with black patches. Black on the sides of the head around the ears. Quite young I think.
Nipped home and got a box, wrapped her up warm and took her to RSPCA in Cross Lane but it doesn't open till 11.30, so took her to Seaview Vets on Seaview Road. They checked her over and she will lose an eye but is otherwise OK.
Knocked on a couple of doors nearby but no luck finding owner.
Seaview Vets said she would go to the RSPCA later.
Hope this helps get her back to her owner.
