Does anyone else think that the pollsters and main stream media are not independent and unbiased in their reports. Judging by the polls for the last General Election,Brexit and the American election and their polls results I think not.
I think whoever pays the piper picks the tune

I have no problem with them being biased, neutral reporting is almost impossible.
However, when they lie or mislead (eg represent opinion as fact) they should be brought to task. Perhaps every article should state whether it is factual or opinion.

Would tend to agree. So many different polls its easy for an editor to pick one that suits the position they want to promote....but do polls influence the way you or i vote...i doubt it.might affect the way you would bet on the result. Remember one poll with brexit got it wrong simply because it was conducted in the south. I think the wiki poll got it right
