I have been thinking the past few weeks that i would love to buy an old beatle and do it up and make it look like herbie, yes i know im mad but i have just got this into my head now and id really love to do it but it obviously costs money too and im rather skint. dont ya think herbie is sooo cute, i loved the film when i watched it.

Make sure you get the Soft Top version as most replica's have a hard top. I think "Herbie" was a 1963 Pearl white. I think beetles had a face lift from late 60's and have smaller head lights. plus these wheels rather than the standard ones. Always funny seeing replicas, but have never seen an accurate one :S Suppose it is difficult to source a decent 60's soft top for a reasonable price.
