Since fitting the new cams Ive had a fair few niggles with her, so Ive decided to take it off the road for a bit until I can get her properly sorted. Im just trying to arrange getting it booked in to a place called APT in Norwich, who specialise in the 200's and the SR20DET engine. Gonna get them to set the cams up properly, and whilst its there, fit a Power FC and map it, metal head gasket, my bigger turbo, tubular manifold, dump pipe, bigger injectors if it needs them and fit my twin plate clutch Im also in the process of trying to buy this: ...and save to get the 180's work done

TBH The cams would have to come out for the headgasket to get done, the std turbo would also have to be removed, so Im only expecting the major expense to be fitting and mapping the Power FC and the clutch fitting

Well, its booked in for the 7th October After a long chat to the guy who will be mapping the car, we have decided 740cc injectors will be the safest bet

What kind of BHP figures you expecting when its finished ? I am suprised at you going for a harsh clutch as you know the round town drivability disapears However if your going for big power then i guess you dont have much choice ...... Have you got verniers fitted ?

The clutch is going to be a necessity to handle the power - which Im keeping stum about until I get it back with the RR report. (Although a twin plate is more drivable than a single plate paddle as the engagement is smoother, the twin plater on the old Skyline was easier to live with that the single AP paddle on the S13 I had all those moons ago ) Verniers are quite a fine tuning accessory on a turbo car - more so than a N/A car as the air is forced in rather than being reliant on being drawn in and wont be needed The Beemer - if I get it, is a replacement for the Rover, and would be kept
