i have just installed my new amp and sub and was wondering if you no if you can put a switch half down on the remote wire so that you can turn your amp on and off via the switch. has anyone tried this before or does anyone no if this is possible. i want to do this so that when i dont have the music on loud, my amp wont drain my battery. many thanks

it took me about ten seconds. all i did was cut the wire and then striped the wire at each end and then reconected the wire on the switch. simple

its a really cheap mod that comes in very handy.specially if you have a headache and youve got a jbl 15 inch sub and a 1000 watt amp like me. the bass can sometimes be to much
