Noticed a lot of garages have this on their list of work undertaken, but what is it, im sure is not engine tuning of any sort.
Can someone enlighten me please !!!

Crypton Tuning :
This is engine tuning and it is done with a machine manufactured by CRYPTON.
Hence the name "Crypton Tuning"
Basically its an "Engine Tune" and can be done withthe aid of any engine tuning machine such as SUN or SNAP ON.
Crypton is the market leader so people simply picked up on there name, thats all.
It is not relevant to modern cars, its more for the likes of the old cortina's and escorts etc etc. If they wernt running right you would rig it up on the machine and adjust the points, plugs etc etc.

my mini was all ways getting crapton tuned, pain in the ass, god bless the ecu

i think they gaurantee krypton tuning for a set period of time once it been done aswell
