Thanks to everyone who went to CWC12, with a good show of cars turning up from as far as Rochdale, the North East and Glasgow, the night went very well. We’d like to thank Carlisle City Council for replacing the bulbs in the car park 4 days before the Cruise (after we contacted them) and Workington and Carlisle Constabulary for working with us to ensure the night was a success.
In total only 2 cars were stopped throughout the night, away from the Cruise location, and asked to take more care with their driving. There has been no complaints from the Police or the general public and the overall report from the night is that the event went very well.
A big thank you to the Cruise Wombles who helped to pick up the litter, its the part of the night we dont look forward to and to have help from others is much appreciated.
