The Mayor and Mayoress of Wirral Dave and Sue Mitchell will be officially opening the community and heritage centre, The Heart of Egremont, at 103 Brighton Street Wallasey at 12 noon, Wednesday 19th February and then turning the first spade of soil on the new Kenbright community gardens which will be created on the green opposite the centre. Everyone is welcome to see this event, and find out more about both the Egremont festival 2014 and how you can be a part of this years festival, and what goes on in the community and heritage centre. Come and meet some of the team, the other community groups we work with and how you can get involved as a volunteer with the Friends of Egremont, see
