Are they going to transplant the whole brain etc? All seems a bit weird at the moment. Not enough hard information to do anything but speculate.

Ive heard stories previously where even with just transplanted hearts, people apparently accquire a tendency towards the skills of the donor. Dont know how true that all is.

I hadnt seen anything written Capt, it was just briefly on the early radio news this morning. Having just seen granny's link, I should have added to my list of problems , the one it will cause as to the question of 'when does one die' . With all the spare parts you can have , including whole heads and bodies, would we at all ? Cant take it actually happening on board at all. Seeing the young man in the article though, so body damaged, and so hopeful ,makes me want to think it through further.

this is nothing. just wait until teleportation hits. (Technically, teleporting a lá star-trek is impossible - instead, true teleportation is where a clone of the original is made in a new location, and the original is destroyed leaving just the clone.)
