My OH doesnt do computers or kindles etc, he likes real books Im looking for a factual political book for him which basically explores the theme/examples/proof , that throughout history, America has been trying to screw the UK at every possible turn. There may be no such book, but if anyone has ever read anything along those lines, all suggestions will be welcome thanks.

Not just the UK, most of the world, they are experts at destabilising other countries.
Biggest joke is that they do it in the cause of "liberty" and democracy, they should look at liberty and democracy in their own country first.
Guy Arnold's "Was there ever a special relationship" might be worth a read. I have skimmed this book but not read it.
There were a lot of good books in the 80's and 90's but they are somewhat out of date now.
Ian Bremmer's "Superpower: three choices for America's role in the world" will give a lot of insight into the way America thinks but I've not read it.

Thanks DD Ill take a look. Sound a promising start. Hes looking for eg's of concious policy decisions rather than stuff that happens to disadvantage the UK by accident/unintentially. The old books might be ok as America have been at it for the last 100 years or more (according to OH anyways - Im not a political animal really. ) Think he's got another bee in his bonnet, --*sighs*

United Nations are the fly in the ointment IMO. Only a matter of time before the world order in the United Nations begins to reflect the new world order on the ground.
UN have no money, so how are they going to get what they need ? Make us all pay. We shall have nothing, no savings , no investments, continued austerity while they scoop up by other means.
Whilst the Rockefeller family and Rothschild family sit in the Control Room.
If there is enough information in the public domain to write a book about them , I reckon that's where your OH will find out a whole lot more.

Just ordered the Guy Arnold book for him This has to be the last for a while, he cant even cope with the books hes got already. Theres a fair few now awaiting his attention! He collects books like other people collect shoes.Cant resist subjects that appeal to him .

This is worth a read. I first picked up on this story in Bill Bryson's book "1927": http://historynewsnetwork.org/article/1796
