Downton Abbey on Xmas day, the very last one, I'll be recording that. Good for me and some others but not everybody's cup of tea I know. I haven't seen much advertised. There will be plenty repeats of that we can be sure.

The Sound of Music Live on the 20th, other than that nothing else has 'jumped' at me. Don't really watch tele anyway.

Wizard of Oz on Film 4 , Christmas Day (just for a change)

Try to unplug tele on Christmas Day but Downton shall not be missed. Definitely no soaps.

Might be wrong about Wizard of Oz, but who cares, wouldn't watch it anyway. It's imprinted in my memory, every darned word.

This might help: http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2015...-radio-times-christmas-double-issue-2015

Did anyone watch 'Saving the forgotten Jews' yesterday on BBC ?
Extremely interesting and an amazing operation that many probably have not heard of, around the time of Band Aid. Creating fake holiday villages so the agents could move freely around the country !
There have been pretty horrific times in Ethiopia and Sudan.

History documentary. In the 1980s and 1990s a Manchester textiles merchant, a Mossad spy and a seasoned diplomat saved the forgotten Ethiopian Jewish community.

Only 30 mins , Still on iplayer.
