I'll show you a driver who has never driven through a red traffic light and is certainly not a liar. ME!

I've never gone through a red light.

Call me old fashioned but personally I like to drive to the standard that was required in order to get my licence, and I also like it clean and fine free.

I'd expect a professional driver to drive better than an amateur driver, but they don't and that is why I notice them.

Of course in a lot of cases there is financial benefit for a professional driver to drive faster so the problem will continue.

Quite a number of taxi drivers and even some bus drivers smoke in their vehicles which is illegal whether or not they have passengers. I remember one bus driver with a bus full of kids regularly driving one-handed round corners with his fag in the other hand sticking out the window.

The amount of people using mobiles is ridiculous, they think they are driving perfectly but when you follow them weaving all over the road and over reacting to situations it doesn't appear to be the case.

sven... if this is the attitude you have with hackney drivers is it no wonder they give you an earful.... They were paying there last respects to a friend who has died..... lets just hope you never need a hackney or a hackney and a cyclist never need you!!!

If someone gives it loads to me theyre gonna get it back. Period. U get respect if u give it.
I dont drink much so dont need cabs esp black ones that charge too much anyway
Private are cheaper.
It doesnt phase me seeing peoples brains in trees or heads ripped of as i get on with the job i have to do. These could all be avoided by reducing speed but most drivers drive like boy racers. I have zero sympathy .live by the sword ,die by it i say.
The only services that can legally block my way are the 3 main ones.
Any "attitude" is from taxis not me.
Someones died so what .dying is part of living.

There are two different taxi licenses for a reason, hackneys are geared for local journeys and are capped for that purpose.

In life ive learned if u allow people to rip u off, they will happily.
Thats why i have zero debt.
