I hope this never comes about .... banks are hoping to be able to use shares as collateral for the Bank of England instead of the current system of using very low risk deposits. Yet another pile of dominoes and playing cards being set up that could literally collapse overnight leaving the country at risk instead of just the banks. What are the Bank of England thinking of???
