I have bin in this car. It is an absolute beast. My mate (Mat_206) has one that looks similar to this, but not the GTI

nice car. is this the 1 with 4 exhausts? have u thought bout sendin it to lad performance? they claim they can get 175 bhp for £995 ported polished head, and custom manifold!

I think it was originally just a gti, then he got the 180 engine put innit, i think.

hi guys, cheers for all the comments.
well the 206 did start life out as a normal gti 140bhp and now its been changed to a gti 180.
well at the mo it runs at 167bhp but once a few problems have been sorted out, which is hopefully next week it will run at 187bhp.
yes i did go to st anselms, whos that

I was known as Ando in school, seen you about in the car, I was quite a few years ahead of you in school. Left the 6th form in '98 . I drive a silver FTO GPX if you've seen me about. Do you know Al? He'll be able to tell you who I am
