Only had one hunt this month as i'm mad busy at work, but I found myself some gold grin

Few pre decimal coins

A bullet

And...A GOLD RING grin

If anyone could give me a date and place of manufacture from the hallmarks that would be great smile I'm no good with them!

Thanks for looking

Turner & Simpson. Chester ? Don;t know if that is P or R at the end. That should give a date.

This is one made in Birmingham, so you can see the resemblance.

Chester 1915. and in case you cared, it's 9ct gold.

& the T&S Symbol probably stands for EJ Trevitt & Sons

Oh brilliant x-plore I,m so jealous, but very pleased for you. Bet you couldn't believe it when you dug that up. So There are still treasures in the ground, I was beginning to give up. Not been out myself for ages. You've inspired me again, great stuff...

I don't find anything worth showing Snowy. I am going to join a metal detecting club though and hopefully go out with them on some digs, maybe get something then.

It clearly says that T & S is Turner and Simpson on the link relating to the medallion. They had places in Chester, Birmingham and London.
How did T & S (Turner and Simpson ) become E J Trevitt & sons ?
