Just wondering if anyone's hobbie may involve Flight Simming, ive been a keen simmer now for around 10 years, and find it quite relaxing! ive also been making scenery for sometime now aswell and have a project for Yellowknife Airport in Canada, im sure some of you have seen Ice Pilots set around Buffalo Airways!. Recently i also decided do add a little life to New Brighton!

The models are not 100% exact due to trying to keep the export size down!!

Much thanks

I have always been in to flight sims but never really have the time. I have a yoke, pedals and engine control sticks here, never used them! Good work

A Bargain @ £4 i got it a while back!! smile

A couple more shots of my planned work, the first image to me is the very iconic Seaforth Radar Tower situated alongside the wind turbines, a building i generally look at everytime im down New Brighton, unfortunately it was due to be demolished in 2008 with plans to build the Mersey Observatory there! However the project was put on hold!!

You have far more patience than me and don't even mention my lack of artistic skills crazy

I used to play fs3 and I think fs5, landing Gates' Learjet on the Nimitz was a good lesson in stall control.

Going back further in the days where computers had terminals with no graphics I had the early fs on my cp/m machine as well, while it was an amazing program for its time, it was far from realistic.

Years ago I had the privilege of having a go on the Vulcan simulator at RAF Scampton, I grounded it of course. Not into it but just thought I'd mention it seeing as how the thread reminded me of it. Enjoy.

Brilliant work! I've just picked up Microsoft FS X from steam. Would love to add your work to it! Really adds to the realism!

May I please ask a question on behalf of our older members? WTF is flight simming? Is it something to do with stairs? If I was well and truly "simmed" would I feel better for it? Sorry, that was three questions, but there is so much I don't know and so little time.
