Love the design and colours they use for these ships, very classy. Sets them apart from the usually white cruisers we see. Just wish I was on one if them!
Approx. 3,000 people on board ! The other two have much the same. Can't imagine them being any type of 'cosy cruise', it would take 10 days to find your way around.

Just to add even down at sycombe ferry, managed car parks. It will be crazy parking tomorrow if your attending. Price cones along the main roads so restricted parking is happening.
Brilliant...We went down to the front in birkenhead , by the Post Office in Pacific road, then on to Seacombe, then New Brighton for a drive and a meal.... Busy in the car park at Seacombe ferry, but quiet in Morrisons car park..... Looking forward to tomorrow... Your dog looks well ,rudebox..
Great photos and thanks. Find myself working all day Monday so look forward to seeing the 3 photos. Interesting how you get a photo of the 3 if they are parallel. Good if someone has their drone out flying and filming

Just watched the live feed. Excellent coverage but a pity about the simpering girl on the Liverpool side; sounded as if she was presenting some children's programme. Thought I saw Rudebox in the crowd, but probably not as she didn't have a placard.
We were down by the ventilation shaft at Woodside good view apart from the contraption at 12 quays & the dog was very well behaved getting lots of admirers
I watched them from port sunlight river park , you could see them ok but i think you needed binoculars which made it so much better. Thought the Red Arrowes were disappointing, many people missed them because they came so quick and went. Thought they would go up and down a couple of times....
Really great photos , Alan 128, the ship looks great all light up , and the fire works look fab .I was not really bothered about the 3 queens till i saw Mary last night , glad to say i saw them ,all 3 ,most people by me were also dissappointed by the red arrows , they were only 'booked ' to a fly by ,on the way to Blackpool Air Show.Starkita alot of 'well behaved dogs ' by me in Seacombe , mine went out with one of my daugthers and family, to Eastham Woods, cos she is a 'yapper'..

Well she was well behaved till we were going back to my mums & passed a couple of pubs, she headed straight for the door. She does like her alcohol usually stolen not given lol.were going back tonight for the fireworks but leaving Misty at home, she doesn't like them
Surprised to have missed seeing you Missy. We were just sorting the dog out as you and Mr Jong were crossing the main Rd. You just disappeared but then it was chocker.
We came home for a brew and the loo and it was even busier, just before the flyover.
Back again for a third time with Shum Shum and family, who missed QM2 leaving.
Fab pics,we were by the Woodside ventilation shaft, good view of the QM2 & the Queen Vic turning round, couldn't quite see Queen Elizabeth til she moved up river & the noise when the Queen Vic dropped her anchor
Yes have to say ,very good photos, sorry to have 'missed ' you and your family , i was nearer the first 'bit' with the 'steps', did derek show up ..The river was very 'busy' with various shipping vessels ,even canoe's, jet skies , land /water craft as well, good atmos ...The sun came out , in the end..
The atmosphere was good were we were got a few comments on the dog & some even knew what breed she was but it makes me laugh when small kids think she's a wolf

Thanks and thanks Mark!!! LOL Me and K thought you would have gone left- we did look for you!! (Should have taken my phone). No Derek...he must have sensed that we have no bacon in, unless he knocked and we had already left

LOL. We left Bertie at home, he would have got over-excited and jumped up at people. He is daft as a brush and wouldn't harm a fly but not everybody knows that, of course.
Not as busy as I thought it would be , but as I say without binoculars not a great view. I thought the park was lovely even swans on the lake they've got x
No need for me to post any pictures but sorry for mooring our boat on the slipway at Priory Wharf and annoying everyone who thought they had a right to a view.
There were a few choice words pointed in our direction!
Please remember, we pay to moor our boats there.
Nice to have a chat to the guy with the drone too.

There was a fair number on the hill.

youtube Got a fair few videos from several locations throughout the weekend (Seacombe,Woodside & Liverpool) on my channel if you fancy reliving some of the sights and sounds of the celebrations !!!
I was particularly impressed by the Amazing Graces light projection onto the Royal Liver Building ..and fireworks .. and the sheer size of the vessels ...and they can come back anytime they like .. well you get the point !!
Had to laugh with one bloke, he reckoned that all the people streaming down to the waterline reminded him of Dunkirk, especially with the little boats faffing about out there as well.
Great photos everyone. I went over to watch the lights on Saturday evening - was really quiet over there, parked my bum on a wall right opposite the Liver Building
Amazing photos and videos off everyone, thanks for putting them up have enjoyed looking. What is the next big event for the city? Is it the River Festival?
