Thanks Dilly, I used Google Maps street view but couldn't see a name. It's been years since I walked around that area and only ever remember it as a bank so was surprised to see the change. I think you go blind to such things if you are concentrating on driving and I only ever seem to go up Rowson Street so the entrance is obscured. The last time I walked in Victoria Road was when my old man was the manager of the Royal Ferry Hotel during its closed period around 1969/70.

I did not know that The Corner was originally a bank. Any suggestions for time to meet up? Obvs, we want to be able to sit together, but by reading Facebook Reviews The Corner seems really popular. 5* Egg. So, do we plan to get there early??
