Green VW Polo 1.0l 1988 Saloon.

I loved it, was an amazing car to drive and was fairly nippy.

Had it 2 years to get the NCB but needed £200 worth of work doing to pass the MOT, t'wasnt worth it in the end frown

Gutted!

Brand new from the showroom, Rode it home 10 miles or so, Took the engine right out there and then as it only done approx 32 mph. Replaced the engine with a AR80 and six speed box, Wow, Done approx 80 MPH flat out and mega wheelies also.....

i started off life in a cortina est (looked like a hurse) cost me £600.00 an ran like a bag of hammers. what was i thinkin! but at least i could fit all the kids in.
I only got into modded cars about 3 years ago when i got a nova with a full novadose body kit on it, combat side skirts, reprayed deep blue, peco big bore 4, toad cat 1 alarm, air horn, mondeo spoiler, single wiper, loads of alloy interior parts,2 subs and 4 6x9s running off a 1000 wat stealth amp for £850 (the lads mum sold it why he was away at uni) i bet he aws not a happy bunny when he got home.
I ran it for 2 years had loads of fun in it and sold it 12 months ago for £975.Not a bad deal realy. :go:

my first car was a 1.2 nova which i bought for £35.00 what a heap of sh1t that was, i sunk £200.00 into it to make it look like a decent car with the reg plate being C***COW and did i get some stick over that plate anyway i took it for its m.o.t and it failed on everythink except the bloody LIGHTS i was gutted to say the least, also found out that the hole bloody car was a death trap and that it was rusted every where but i couldn't see it i didn't want to see it but the b*tch got the better of me and it had to go, anyway i took it to me local scrappy and they said that i would have to pay them to take it away so i went to me other local scrappy and they gave me £25 quid for it and that was the end of that.

And 10 months down the line i buy me misses a vw golf and what a car in half that is, we have had it know for about 15 months

citroen ax jazz 954 cc 5dr in white cost me £575, 3 months down the line i found a 5dr axgt, bought the gt the day before the tax ranout for £20 and spent the next day gutting the poor car, i mean everything had to go in to mine. Once i removed the carpet i found about £8 underneath. 4 hours later took the car to the scrapy and sold it for £10. So in all for £2 i got full gt interior and bumbers and plenty of spares. Then some bugger crashed into the side of me and wrote it off, Gutted
