I'm having to move house soon and the solicitors have sent me a big form with loads of questions about my existing house. It's asking if "Has the whole or any part of the electrical installation been tested by a qualified and registered electrician?" It goes on to say that if the seller does not have a certificate then it can be obtained from an electrician on the Competent Person Scheme. I've checked the website and found loads in the CH46 area but was wondering if anyone could recommend any one of these and roughly how much it should cost. Many thanks.
