Sorry to those who are trying to cut back on rich food, but I just wanted to say , if anyone adores marzipan (like me) Aldi's luxury Stollen , is absolutely stunning this year . Its really generous with the marzipan and dried fruits , so moist and yummy.Only the luxury one, the bog standard one is er , well, pretty standard!

Think I must have had the bog standard one--not a great fan of stollen. Asda in north End were selling off Christmasy cake for 50p. Great with a cup of tea.
