I was driving behind a unmarked jag x type when I decided to overtake him at a considerable speed much greater than his. When I reached in front of him blue light flashed behind his grille for a few seconds and then stop. I s..t and slowed down, he followed me for another mile or so and then overtook me displaying a led sign in the back window flashing police. He then drove off and I exited the motorway. Do people think he was trying to scare me or do you think ive been caught. I will leave my top speed open to your imagination

Am not sure what they do on motorways tho, they either pull u off on the hardshoulder an giv ye a ticket or note down ye reg an send it via post.

U'll prob be fine as if they realli wanted to pull ye, they wuda followed ye to the exit n got ye.

I have been told that they must pull you over to check you are the owner of the vehicle as I might have lent it to some1.Or worse I may have stolen it and am sure they would have wanted to breathalise me for drink

yeah thats what you would have got so if its that serious they would have pulled you then, there not gunna mess round posting stuff through. dont worry about it, just be careful from now on x

You'll be ok. as everyone has said they would of stopped u there and then. they just wanted to warn you that they are around, if u took no notice an carried on driving they prob would of pulled you. if u ever do get pulled I have found the best way to deal with it is give them respect call them sir ect... it goes a long way.

It sounds like you will be okay buddy, however they do have 14 days to issue you with a notice of procecution.

If they had of stopped you then they could have give you a Verbal notice of procecution but they never so await 2 weeks and keep your fingers crossed....

Sounds like they were simply playing with you....

Close,lucky lucky boy. I reckon he was just warning u,and as u slowed down he decided to let u off.The fact u have a jag more than likely helped, if it were a little hatch he'd have prob done ya (altho u may not have been able to reach the speeds u did in a small hatch)

i was doing 100 on the motorway the other day looked in my rear veiw mirror and there was a police car (new shape vectra) right behind me with the flashers on i didnt see them untill i looked in my mirror and i shit myself moved over thinking i was gonna get dun but they just carried on lucky 4 me they must have been going to a call.

i reacon they will throw the book at you for being a speedy guy
