Hi just bought a new USB power socket for the wife's HP slate as the old one is broken .problem is it needs a couple of little solders on it and I haven't got a clue or equipment to do it any one out there a soldering wizard am in rock ferry but traveling on the Wirral is no probs cheers

Was going to say 'Akita Consoles', he soldered six pins onto my old IPod, less than 1mm wide. He charged 10 quid for nearly an hour's work.

Thanks for the heads up on akita consoles .went there today handed Roy my circuit board thingy went to bank as he doesn't take cards ,came back job done .really nice guy thanks for the heads up
