troll alert @joney --why would you mention the strike when its not called for ,im sure there is a thread already up about the strike , this thread is about a charity event - feel free to donate instead of moaning ,did the strike bother you in france . I doubt it
The strikes are about an attack by this corrupt government on fire-fighter pensions that were signed up for and agreed in 1992 .a legal dispute which will now be fought in a law court due to theft of pension rights . similar to ppi claims and endowment failures, pension rights were agreed and now the government want to back track .note that the corrupt mps just voted themselves a nice pay rise
this has nothing to do with a charity fundraiser that will benefit from much needed funds so no need for the negative comments .
dont forget now , this is tuesday 18th novemeber which is tomorrow , there is a lovely selection of sausages , nice bacon , doughnuts for those that dont want a fry up , barms for the diet conscious people amongst us . baked beans on toast , tea and toast , marmalade ,bagels , hash browns , dont miss out , get down there and have a nice winter warmer breakfast .ive pulled out all the stops to give you a nice choice so dont be shy you obviously just pick what you want on the day --imagine a fried breakfast with adoughnut on it --??? who knows .
