Anybody had any problems with their children starting this term? allegedly one of the new form teachers is a nasty piece of work, but you know how kids can exaggerate, don't want to make a fuss without more foundation.

Youngest is now in (what used to be) 6th form now, has had issues with bullying, school has 'policies' in place to deal, some staff are better than others at implementing these. Eldest had issues that I dealt with parent to parent, that was way more effective than school handling. Best approach is via school channels, dont be fobbed off, insist on staff handling fully, bear in mind you trust these people with the welfare of your children on a daily basis, sometimes they need reminding how much of a big responsibility this is.
