I was talking to Dazza earlier on about Cosworth Engines and we were both wondering what YB stands for. Can anyone help? I looked on the internet trying to find out but I can't  Also, another question, which Cossie do you prefer? Sierra or Escort?  Vicky x

Like I said before Vicks i dont think it stands for anything, all i know is that the YB engine is based on the old pinto engine.
Also its gotta be Escort Cosworth all the way!
Intresting Fact: The Escort Cos is atucally based on the Sierra Cossie rather than a standard Escort - i.e Esc Cos parts wont fit my car!

All i can find about the YB series is that it ran from 1984 -1989 200 BHP - 400+BHP

I dont like tha Flip Sierra - Ford's dont take kindly to Jap stylin or things like that in my mind, save that paint colour for a Paxo.
Out of the 2 shapes of Sierra - I like both, seen sum mint old skool sierra's but would prolly say the Mk2 Sierra was the nicer model, only cos I have more experiance with em.
