This year’s Hoylake bonfire and fireworks event in aid of the RNLI will take place on Friday 1st November at 6pm on the beach opposite the Lifeboat Museum/Hoylake Sailing Club.
West Kirby Sailing Club are holding their event (also in aid of the RNLI) a day later, Saturday 2nd November at 6.30pm. Drinks and burgers will be available.
Local parking restrictions apply at both events so arrive early if you’re driving to either event.

It did, thank goodness! I went with daughter and grandchildren. Not too cold, no rain, hardly any wind - the beach bonfire was really impressive, great billowing clouds of fiery, spark-dusted smoke against the dark sky, and the fireworks looked good. Seemed like a good turn-out, hope they did well out of it.
