Anybody see what looked like a single wing flying over Bebington towards Tranmere about 4pm this afternoon. quite a noisy engine and looked like carrying one person. Came across from Lever Causeway direction. Not a model one.

There were 3 of them down Moreton shore yesterday afternoon. They came from West Kirby up to around Moreton and turned back. Noisy buggers they are. I think they are called Powered Paragliders.

Thanks for that. It was definitely a Microlite after seeing the photos on Google. A type of fixed wing, not the parachute style. The pilot held underneath the wing much closer than suspended well beneath on wires. Was there a club event on around Moreton? Has anyone tried this, looks great.
