Hi all, my mate is after an a cheap Tablet. He normally uses an Ipod with WiFi to get onto the net. He wants to log into Ebay, use Google and if possible Outlook Express (but not that essential). His eyesight is not what it was, so he needs a bigger screen. Maybe 7 inch. He`s not hoping to pay a lot for one as it would only get light use. Have you any thoughts on which one to buy. I had a look for him and wouldn`t have a clue which was a reasonable buy. Cheers

It says there are 227 people watching this item. So why watch and not buy it as its a "Buy It Now" not an auction. Makes me wonder why.

I`m not worried about it being refurbished. I cant understand why the software has stupid names like Jelly Bean and Sandwich. Makes me think they are inferior. I suppose I`m just old hat and if it dont say Windoze or Apple I think its a pile of P^^. I was looking at some reviews on the net and they all seem to give it the thumbs up. I`ll see if anyone else can suggest any more tablets. Thanks for your input guys. Cheers

Ice Cream Sandwich, actually. It's Google's way of naming the releases of their Android OS. Each new release is one letter higher, so, (G)ingerbread, (H)oneycomb, (I)ce Cream Sandwich, (J)elly Bean, (K)itKat, etc.

I have an ipad mini, it's on contract from three, I couldn't afford to pay out over £300, I also have a galaxy tab 2 but I find the ipad is smoother running and quite fast best one I think!

Have you tried looking on Amazon? They have some reasonable ones on there.

I spent 2 hours before, not to mention god knows how long last night looking. They dont mean a thing to me as I no nothing about tablets. I cant tell a good one from not so good. The one I saw for £47 looks almost as good as the £79 one but a lot cheaper. So is it worth spending the extra money?
