Whilst walking my dog this morning on Oxton fields I found a gents bicycle which had obviously been there all night ( dew on saddle),as it looked fairly new I pushed it home for safe keeping.I have reported it to the police who will collect it when they have time but if it's yours and you can describe it to me you could save yourself a trip to the police station.

Hi there,

Can you tell me which Police Staion the bike was taken to, please?

My partner's mountain bike was stolen on the Merseyrail Wirral Line network. My son was using the bike, and had got on the 20:30-ish train from West Kirby towards Liverpool last night, Friday 19 July. When my son got off at Birkenhead North to connect with the New Brighton train, he realised that the bike was no longer on the train where he had left it.

The Bike is a "Muddy Fox Hobo" in silver and black with a blue and black saddle. If you need a more detailed descripton, I'm sure my partner will be able to supply more information, however he is working until late tonight so I cannot ask him right now.

If you have any information, I would be very very grateful if you would please contact me.

Thanking you in advance,

Laura,
New Brighton, CH45.

Hi, again, I have just re-read your post and seen that you still have the bike you found. Sorry for my confusion about asking what Police sTation you'd taken it too - I am just pretty upset and angry with my son right now and wondering what on earth his Dad will say when he finds out that his bike has been stolen!

Laura
