Hi, we have just had a cupboard built to hide our boiler and wondered how to go about painting it.
Its made of MDF, unfinished from Wickes. The doors are already hung and I dont want to take them down in case I cant get them to hang again. Can these be painted vertically like a normal door?
What paint to do I need for a good finish?
Many thanks Deano

Read that thread earlier. Seems like a hell of a lot of work for 3 cupboard doors. Can I not just roll on a primer and gloss?

I used a good mdf primer x2 coats and a couple of coats of gloss. Normal primers do not like mdf due to the chemicals in mdf cyanide is just one. Use a smooth gloss roller

Cheers. I got Wickes MDF primer and ill start with a couple of coats of that, followed by gloss. What type of hardening varnish would you recommend for a white door?
