This photo was took at the Kwik Save store on Poulton Road, Wallasey.

I understand that this building was an old Picture House but has anybody any idea what this 'cog'type thing is-sticking out of the wall? It's about 30 feet high- 'above the hole- in-the-wall' cash dispenser.

It must be an 'original feature'- but of what??

Nice garden in the gutter,

A guess, if its an old cinema, could it be something to do with a rotating sign or light or even a lighted rotating sign.

God help us,
Come yourself,
Don't send Jesus,
This is no place for children.

And, Pinz, I just 'happened' to read through the whole site and there's mention of Wirral and Clatterbridge examples. Beware, those 'potty' collectors are getting closer!

Tatey..You need your bottom smacking! .....
....and why is everyone being mean to Pinz?

Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.
