Funnily enough went there last night, wasn't too bad but for the price was disappointing to say the least.

We had actually left before I was able to pick up your link, but thanks anyway, McFlurry. Id forgotten it was changing hands - was thinking it was just a refurb and updating of the old Moby. So, thinking roasts, I wasnt really expecting an American Diner type place. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Decor ok. Free popcorn on the table for nibbles and water to drink without having to request it. Some tables too close together for my liking.Several booths to seat 6 available. Probably fine if you like loud music (at least it was a mixed bag,not all of one style and we liked the Blues tracks ) --and the fish and steak we chose were nicely cooked, but portions very modest and the costs mounted a bit by the time you'd added a side to pad it out. Pensioners on a Fri might do well , saw fish and chips on menu for £4.95 , but didnt see any being eaten to know whether it was a teaspoonful of fish and four chips! Mini cinema room for children was a nice touch, but if you're paying a fair amount to relax and eat a special meal, you may not appreciate kiddies squealing and running backwards and forwards across the floor from parents table to cinema. Didnt bother us however as we're well conditioned to 'childplay' lol ! Dont suppose there would be kiddies there anyway after teatime. An interesting visit (never experienced macaroni cheese as a side before ) but would we go again? Mmm, probably not, I think for the prices, Id rather somewhere quieter and more traditional.

Common sense? hmmm, hello? My idea of common sense for a Restaurant Web Site would be to put a clickable link to the menus on their web page (and heaven forbid, to update it occasionally). Gasp!!!
Then again, perhaps their menu is supposed to be a secret.

http://www.hickorys.co.uk/I found it using common sense. Perhaps I have more. There is a clickable link.
