guys just a heads up , dont leave your kindle in the car over night, i did and the night temperatures have killed the screen , spoke to amazon and they reckon it is the temperature it was out in...Im furious as they say theres no fix and seeing as mine was a month out of warranty ill have to buy a new one

seriously unhappy

thats pretty bad luck there - thanks for the info - i was considering buying one to use as a monitor for light painting pics at night but if it cant stand low tempratures its no use to me

DISGUSTING to make a product with such unreliability.

i got nowhere with kindle due to the fact the warranty is out, they recommend i buy a new one.

not bloody likely , ill buy a cheapo one and probably get more life from it !

i know its been a while since i started this thread but.....

i finally got a resolution off amazon over this kindle problem yipee

eventually they offered me a replacement for 30.02 , which overall im happy with seeing as the kindle was out of guarantee (just)

if anybody else has trouble with them , remember to be persistant with them and they will give in wink
